TRIPLE-TUBE™
Simply Better!... The
Feldmeier Stainless Steel Triple-Tube™ Heat Exchanger consists
of an inner tube, an intermediate tube and an outer tube,
concentrically mounted. In actual process, the heating or
cooling medium travels in one direction through the inner
tube and through the annular space between the intermediate
and outer tubes. The product flows in the opposite direction
through the annular space between the inner tube and the intermediate
tube. This produces counter flow action. Substantial heat
exchange efficiency results from this counter flow making
it...Simply Better!
Unique Construction
of the Feldmeier Triple-Tube™ also guarantees product integrity.
Should a gasket failure occur, the product would leak to atmosphere.
Co-mingling of product with heating or cooling medium is virtually
impossible.
Flexibility In Tube Installation
allows units to be rearranged for increased or decreased capacities
regardless of the type of installation. Units can also be
adapted to handle an entirely different product fluids, slurries
or slurries in suspension.

Triple-Tube™ C.I.P.
design was first developed by Robert H. Feldmeier and first
installed and put in operation in 1952. Many large Feldmeier
Milk HTST Pasteurizers are still in operation being Cleaned-In-Place
daily, for over 40 years! These units have never been dismantled
for regasketing and have endured 30 hour "runs".
Bolted Stainless Steel Flange Joints
and Teflon Gasketing provides a tubular assembly
that allows each tube to be dismantled separately. Tear-down
of the unit is not required for inspection. Only the tube
to be inspected needs to be removed, therefore not disturbing
the remainder of the tube assembly. Inspection may be accomplished
in a matter of minutes without appreciable downtime.
