This picture happens to be a Heavy Juice Pasteurizer mounted on a stainless steel frame. Note the stainless steel hot water piping. The Panel Board is shown separately, but it is often mounted on the frame. Note the stainless steel divert valve is mounted and piped. Skid mounted systems are becoming quite popular as piping and wiring costs are greatly reduced as compared with doing it in the field.

Automation incorporated into the system can range from simple thermostatic and pneumatic controls to completely automatic PLC based systems with touch screens for operator interface.

Our Engineers develop Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams by taking the specific process, legal requirements, and customers preference into consideration. We size the valves and pumps to appropriate pumping and flow needs, and we estimate heating and refrigeration requirements and other utilities. System performance is a combination of thermal performance of the heat exchanger, hydraulics of the whole system, and performance of the controls & instrumentation. Since, Feldmeier Equipment sizes their heat exchangers and designs them as per the specific application, integrating appropriate controls and instrumentation into the system and delivering it to the customer as one compete package results in a more dependable system with optimum performance.

Feldmeier Processing Systems include a stainless steel control panel board installed on the skid with chart recorder; PLC system and operator interface. All switches, motor starters and PLC components are installed, pre-wired and tested at our facility before shipment and all the customers need to do is to supply electricity and compressed air to the control panel and connect other utilities to the system.

Feldmeier Equipment can also provide complete programming and start-up services for the system that we supply. Since we provide the hardware and software for the system, the customer does not have to look for different resources for various engineering needs of the system.
