DOUBLE-TUBE
Double-Tube & Triple-Tube Economy
Pays For Itself.
When you install a Triple-Tube Heat Exchanger,
your first investment is just about your last. The stainless
steel and Teflon gasketing are practically impervious to chemical
reaction and for all suitable purposes has a "life time
durability". Maintenance costs, therefore, are practically
nill.
Double-Tube Construction allows
for Product-to-Product Regeneration. The raw cool product
flows in the inner tube counter-current to the heated product
which comes from the heating section and heats this product.
Savings of over 90% of the total heating or cooling load are
realized.
The
Unique Feldmeier Construction of bolted stainless steel
flange joints and Teflon gasketing like the Triple-Tube, allows
for tubes to be inspected separately. This construction also
maintains product integrity, making co-mingling impossible.
Tubes are mounted for complete drainage.
Clean-In Place is also a unique
feature of the Feldmeier Double-Tube Heat Exchanger. Cleaning
solution velocities of 5 ft. per second and up are readily
attained in the inside tube and also the annular space.
Dimpled
Tubes are a unique
feature of Double Tubes and Triple Tubes. Outside-in dimpling
insures concentric tube alignment and uniform flow space by
eliminating tube sag. Dimpling produces C.I.P. cleanable smooth
curved surface protrusions into product steam and permits
use of 20 ft., 30 ft. or 40 ft. long tube systems.
